Hanika 50PF Classical Guitar
Helmut Hanika learned from his Grandfather the construction of violins and later became entirely devoted to building guitars. Helmut started his own workshop in 1953 and later his son Armin Hanika joined the workshop in 1980. Armin passed his master craftsman examinations in 1987 and has been running the shop since 1994. Armin's dedication and obsession to achieve the best sound and playability, has led to a level of perfection and sound quality widely recognized in the guitar world. Today Hanika brand is synonymous with high quality guitars and are in the hands of great players around the world.
Hanika 50PC: Back and sides made from high-quality east Indian rosewood, the soundboard from spruce wood. The 50 PF convinces with its good attack and warmer sound. This means it responds well to almost any type of playing. The use of rosewood helps this model develop a fuller body of sound than the 50 MC.
Made from solid tonewoods, this guitar comes with high-quality Teflon-mounted ‘Rubner Gold Tuning Machines’ and bushed holes. Quality features include the cedro neck that has been laminated throughout with ebony, the ebony fretboard and a bridge saddle made from hard bone material.
The open-pore finish with PUR matt varnish produces a surface that is relatively insensitive to dirt and signs of wear and helps the instrument develop a particularly open and free sound.
