    Helmut Hanika learned from his Grandfather the construction of violins and later became entirely devoted to building guitars. Helmut started his own workshop in 1953 and later his son Armin Hanika joined the workshop in 1980. Armin passed his master craftsman examinations in 1987 and has been running the shop since 1994. Armin's dedication and obsession to achieve the best sound and playability, has led to a level of perfection and sound quality widely recognized in the guitar world. Today Hanika brand is synonymous with high quality guitars and are in the hands of great players around the world.

    Hanika does not stockpile, all guitars are built to order.

    Hanika Basic Cut PC: Leave it to the Germans to build such a high quality guitar at this price point. From Armin Hanika's studio line, the Basic Cut PC is the same as the 50 PC with a narrower 50mm nut width and a Florentine cutaway. This guitar was designed with the stage performer in mind. They have incredible projection and sustain, the build quality and finish are outstanding. Add a Shadow 4020 stereo hexaphonic preamp/pickup and you really have a great sounding amplified nylon string guitar.     Materials: solid cedar soundboard, solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, D-1mm profile cedar neck with African Blackwoodreinforcement, ebony fingerboard,  rosewood bridge, bone nut, bone saddle and quality Rubner tuners.

    Specifications: Scale length 650mm, nut width 50mm, markers on 5th and 7th frets, 20 frets.

    This model comes in a matte finish.

    Includes case: Hiscox pro II hardshell molded case (made in England - $300 value).
